Linda was one of the prettiest, sweetest girls in our class. In 1986, I was with a very scared, young teenage friend of mine who was giving birth to a child she was giving up for adoption. Linda happened to be our nurse and was so caring and helpful. Even after her shift was over, Linda stayed with us to make sure everything was ok. Now that's a compassionate nurse! I will always remember that sweet gesture. It was just her nature to do that.
I was so happy to have her on our reunion planning committee. She was always so helpful and cheerful, even when she was battling severe health issues.
