DALLAS - Stephen Barry Bird, 55, died Friday, March 19, 2010. Arrangements are by Aria Cremation Service & Funeral Home. Mr. Bird was born March 24, 1954, in Lubbock to R.F. and Julie Bird. He graduated from Tascosa High School in 1972 and the University of Boulder in 1980. Survivors include a niece, Julia Bird; a nephew, Dylan Bird; and a grand-nephew, Craig James Bird. Bird, Stephen Barry of Dallas was born March 24, 1954 in Lubbock, Tx. Passed away March 19, 2010. Services held March 27th at 3:00 pm in Restland's Wildwood Chapel. He was preceded in death by his brother, Craig Bird, and his parents, RF and Julie Bird. He is survived by a nephew, Dylan Bird, a niece, Julia Bird and her son, Craig, and very special friend, Lana Moore. He was a music lover and sports fanatic. Steve was admired for his quiet and caring nature but also his humor. He was loved dearly by all friends and family. He will be missed by everyone who knew him and was blessed with many life long friends. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association .
