Randy Christie, 57, of Amarillo died Wednesday, June 13, 2012.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Llano Cemetery with Sherman Eastland, chaplain with Odyssey Hospice, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.
Randy was born Sept. 14, 1954, in Tucson, Ariz., and has been a resident of Amarillo for many years. He was a 1972 graduate of Tascosa High School. He married Donna Redding on Sept. 18, 1983, at Lake Travis.
Randy enjoyed spending time with his family. He worked as a roofer for many years at Golden Spread Roofing before working as a newspaper contractor for USA Today.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Christie.
Survivors include his wife, Donna; a daughter, Christina Greene and husband Nick; a grandson, Acklin Greene; and his mother, Lois Christie — all of Amarillo.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
