Clarke, Randol L.

   Randol L. Clarke, 55, Sunrise – August 3, 1954, Sunset – January 1, 2010.  Randol was a gardener who could grow beautiful tomatoes, flowers and other vegetables.  He loved to hike up the highest mountains he could find, accompanied by Bud and Grizz, his dogs that were his bosom buddies. Randol was a snow board instructor who loved teaching the kids.  He was also a carpenter and built his grandmother’s cabin.  He worked many years as a loader operator in a gravel pit in Carbondale, Colorado.

   Randol is remembered by his father and mother, Grafton and Evelyn Clarke, sisters Shannon Davis and Shelly Richmond.  By his son, Toby Jack, daughter Katie and her husband Darren Gilley, daughter Kristie and husband Derek Moore.  Also his grandchildren Carter and Foster Gilley and Braydon and Brodie Moore.  He is also remembered by many nephews and friends.

   The funeral service will be on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Faith Mountain Church in Red River at 10:00am with burial to follow at Red River Cemetery.  Arrangements were made with Weylen’s Funeral Home of Questa, NM.

Suzy Spencer (Whisenhunt)

Our families spent our summers in the mountains and that is where I met Randol in 1964.
