Patti Collier Deshotel, 63, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, January 31, 2018.

A visitation will be held from 6-7:00 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 5, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Patricia Ann Deshotel was born May 9, 1954 and was adopted by John and Mary Ann Collier. She attended West Texas A&M University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Patti retired from Amarillo Independent School District, after teaching over 25 years and was a member of Coulter Road Baptist Church. Patti loved to shop, tend to her flower garden and spend time being with her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Patti is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Wayne Deshotel; parents, John and Mary Collier; and one brother, Dennis Collier.

She is survived by two sons; Robert Deshotel of Amarillo, TX and John Deshotel of Lubbock, TX; four grandchildren, Caitlyn and Khorie Deshotel of Las Vegas, NV, Brenna Curlee of Austin, TX and Maia Deshotel of Lubbock, TX; and one great-grandchild, Camila Curlee of Austin, TX.
