LARRY GNEPPER

Our beloved husband & father, Larry Gnepper, passed away on August 29th, 2021 at the age of 67 with his family by his side. 


He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Debbie; children: Michelle Garner, Melanie Schneider (Robert), Jenny Roetheli (Mike), Alex Harrison and nine grandchildren; his mother, Gladys Towles; brother, Terry (Karen) Gnepper; sister, Debby (Pat) Murphy; as well as numerous relatives & friends. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Gnepper. 

Larry grew up in Amarillo, Texas. He worked as a firefighter for 14 years, while also working as a carpenter in his own cabinet shop. Later, he became an engineer & worked for Philips Healthcare for 29 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, making clocks, and working outdoors. He could fix anything except a Teddy Ruxpin. He was an honorable man who would help anyone in need. His values were based on his faith and his love for Christ. He had the best sense of humor, which he never let go of.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM on September 1st at Nevels Memorial Cemetery in Tahoka, Texas.

I was sad to see the passing of Larry.  He was one of my closest friends from grades 7 through 12.  Sadly we lost touch over the years, but it does not diminish my admiration for him and good memories.  My throughts and prayers to his family.
