Michael L. Hollinger, 44, of Amarillo, died Thursday, April 15, 1999.  Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday in N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd., with Max Brown of Baptist St. Anthony's Foundation officiating.  Burial was in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Hollinger was born and raised in Amarillo. He was a 1972 graduate of Tascosa High School and was offered a baseball scholarship to Panhandle State University.  After graduation, he was in a diving accident and was left a quadriplegic.  Mr. Hollinger graduated from Texas A&I University.  He was a licensed nursing home administrator and a member of Paramount Baptist Church.  Survivors include his father, Lewis H. Hollinger of Amarillo; a sister, Debbie Smith of Amarillo; three brothers, Gerry Hollinger of Amarillo, Jack Hollinger of Miami, Fla., and Stacey Hollinger of Euless.  The family suggests memorials be to the Second Chance Foundation, 301 Amarillo Blvd. West, Suite 200, Amarillo, TX 79107.
