ROSWELL, N.M. - Michael Leslie King, 57, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Anderson Bethany Funeral Home with the Rev. Winston Curtis officiating.

Michael was born Aug. 11, 1953, in Roswell to Ralph Leslie King and Elsie McPhate King. He graduated from Tascosa High School and worked most of his life as a handyman. He loved to build things and tinker with electronics.

Throughout his life, he loved to fish whenever he could. He will be deeply missed by all his family and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Kenny King; and a great-nephew.

Survivors include four sisters, Carla Keiber and husband Bud and Myra McGilvary and husband Ruben, all of Amarillo, Texas, Kathleen Curtis and husband Winston of Hammon, Okla., and Patti King and husband Ollie of Roswell; 15 nieces and nephews; 24 great-nieces and great-nephews; and countless friends he considered family.
