Sabin King passed away October 10, 2012 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, after a battle with cancer.  This is Sabin with his daughter, Emily.

This guy here was my kind of Superman. He was a rock and a never ending line of support and encouragement. My daddy shaped me and made me who I am. Even at my lowest I knew I could count on his flawless unconditional love. He was super funny and had lots of jokes and stupid sayings that I can still resort to in sadness. He believed in me. He told he was proud of me so many times that it’s the broken record in my head. My daddy died of alcoholism. My daddy was full of lessons. Sometimes the lesson is what not to do. I love my daddy. Thanks Dad for late night music talk, and teaching me real life, breaking down the mafia, teaching me to read a map & to navigate airports, that a car can go forever without gas but not an inch without oil, prepare for the worst hope for the best, thanks for making goulash and silver dollar pancakes and holding my hand on trial, thanks for trying to warn me about love and you’re right you don’t get to pick who you fall in love with. You just go down like a hostage these words couldn’t have been any truer! Happy Heavenly 65th Birthday DAD I love you forever thanks for being exactly the way you were.
