Actor. Mathis appeared in the films, "The Life Of David Gale" (2003), "Bloodrayne" (2002), "The Keyman" (2001), "Hell Swarm" (2000), "Certain Guys" (1999), "The Protector" (1999), "The Newton Boys", (1998), and "Night Vision" (1997). Mathis also played various roles in the television series, "Wishbone" from 1995 to 1998, as well as on, "Walker, Texas Ranger." A native of Amarillo, Texas, Mathis was also a talented stage actor, appearing in the plays, "Mrs. Warren's Profession," "Sly Fox," Jungalbook" "Johnny Tremain" "King Lear," "Henry IV," "La Vida Es Sueño," and "The Real Inspector Hound." Mathis' last film role was one of two actors playing the role of 'Davy Crockett' in the 2003 film, "The Alamo." The other actor to play the role was Billy Bob Thornton.
