GRAPEVINE - Candy McMahon-Boren, 48, died Monday, June 25, 2001.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Monsignors Francis Smyer and Joseph Tash officiating. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Mrs. Boren was born in Amarillo. She was a computer supervisor with IBM.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Carter in 1984.
Survivors include a son, Shelby Christian Boren of Dallas; her mother, Betty McMahon of Amarillo; a sister, Marcia J. Manning of Grapevine; two brothers, Michael L. McMahon of Amarillo and Kevin G. McMahon of Lubbock; six nephews; four nieces; many friends including, Debbie and Dale Fox; and her fiance, Rene Gonzalez.

Candy was my friend our sophomore and junior years. I loved her....she always made me laugh. I can remember going to her dad's funeral. I wish I would have kept in touch with her. Surely a free spirit that Candy.
