Robert David “Sam” Salmon, 59, of Canyon died Monday, March 25, 2013, in Dumas.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Sam Houston Park stage area. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon.

Robert was born Dec. 15, 1953, in Amarillo to R.D. and Betty Jo Bramblett Salmon. He graduated from Tascosa High School in 1972.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Terry Don Cannon.

Survivors include a son, Riley David; a daughter, Sari Jo; and two sisters, Conny Sain of Canyon and Kay Scruggs of Aransas Pass.
