Michael Don Middleton, 61 years old, of Ozark, Missouri passed away on Tuesday September 29, 2015 in his home after a 3 1/2 year battle with cancer. Michael was born on October 25, 1953 in Amarillo, Texas. He was a gifted artist, loved the outdoors, fishing, kayaking, and music but most of all his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Ann Alexander and his Uncle Paul Johnson.

He is survived by his father Don Middleton and stepmother Wanda; his wife Kathy Middleton; their only daughter Amy Hensley and her husband Jeff; three grandchildren, Devyn, Savannah, and Mya, a sister Debbie Slaughter; a brother David Alexander; his Uncle Gilbert Johnson; Aunt Darla and Uncle Randy Mueller; Aunt Judi Johnson; a niece Dawn Inman and her son Preston; many cousins, friends and loving in-laws, including Robert and Betty Pettit who loved him as a son of their own.

A celebration of his life will be held at his home in Ozark on his birthday October 25, 2015. All friends and family are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to fund his family's travel expenses to the places he requested to have his ashes spread.
