BRIAN SONNEK

We moved to Annandale Virginia after my Sophomore year at Tascosa. I graduated from James Madison University then taught PE and coached for 31 years at Lake Braddock Secondary School. After retiring we moved to Williamsburg ,Va. and I'm now doing a lot of fishing and handyman around the house.

Our Sophomore year , the band director(Mr. Harris)left a few weeks into the school year and we didn't really care for the new guy so Steve Walters and myself decided we would have some fun. While the rest of the band was playing a song , we were making elephant sounds through our horns. Well the new director stopped the music BUT we didn't see that and continued to communicate with our horns. He was hot and told us to go see Mr.Porter(Senior Director). Instead we went to lunch. To make a long story shorter , we were caught and sent to Mr. Wooldridges office for 3 swats. That made quite an impression , literally.
